At the beginning of the 20th century, in Iquitos, a small town lost in the heart of the Amazon, the adventurer Brian Fitzgerald dreams of building an opera and of making the great Caruso sing there. To finance his project, he buys a rubber concession known to be inaccessible. Supported by the influential Molly, he buys an old boat to start the exploitation.
