From June 20th to June 22nd Claudia Cardinale will be the guest of honor of the BRIFF’s first edition. A true icon of the movies, she will grace us with her presence during a thorough retrospective commensurate to her talent. From her debut in Lucia and the Guapes directed by her companion Pasquale Squitieri to Twice Upon A Time In The West very recently completed by director Boris Despondov, the BRIFF is offering a vibrant homage to this great lady of Italian cinema with six feature films and four shorts. This will be the opportunity to rewatch Visconti’s The Leopard but also to see some unknown gems of her brilliant career.
