5 men, 5 episodes. From minimalist animation to realist filmmaking by way of fairy tales and science fiction in black and white, Daan Bakker draws the portraits of thirtysomethings confronted with the cruelty of daily life and the difficulty of being true to oneself. With daring and creativity Quality Time brings together the grotesque, the absurd the poetry and the humor inherent in Monty Python. A first movie, tender and cynical but never mean or nasty.
