Gérard Depardieu arrives at the BRIFF!

The BRIFF is more than happy to welcome Gérard Depardieu, who will do us the honour to present Les Valseuses, the cult film of the 1970s, was it necessary to remind it.
Rendez-vous on Monday 25 June at 8.30 pm at Palace.
In the movie Les Valseuses, two rascals live their freedom, in a still stranded France, between provocations, aggressions and love encounters. When released, the film shaked film theatres, but on the other hand was considered “immoral” and “shocking” by some. It has indeed been banned for those under 18 years old. Despite everything, Les Valseuses became in France the third biggest success of 1974.
Before the screening, the actor will be welcomed at the Brussels City Hall where he will be decorated with the Medal of the City of Brussels by the Mayor Philippe Close and the deputy mayor for Culture and Tourism, Karine Lalieux.
